Core Conversion Overview

Wray State Bank and it’s branches, Windsor State Bank and Brush State Bank, will be upgrading our internal banking systems on Monday, March 24, 2025, to provide you with more convenient technology options.

Benefits

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Enhanced online and mobile banking
  • A new MasterCard contactless debit card
  • Enhanced bill pay
  • Personalized debit card alert communications
  • Bank-to-Bank transfers allow you to move funds between accounts with other financial institutions.

Detailed Changes

While most of these changes will be internal, there will be new and improved programs on the customer side as well. Our staff will be here to help you every step of the way. Below are the changes you can expect:

  • Online Banking: There will no longer be separate logins (URLs) to access Personal Online Banking and Business Online Banking. Online banking will now be accessed through a single URL. Stay tuned for the updated URL.
  • Mobile Banking: Enjoy the convenience of a single mobile banking app for both personal and business needs. A new download link for the updated app will be shared soon. Zelle will be temporarily unavailable starting March 21st, lasting up to 30 days. We apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime, please consider using another person-to-person payment method, or checks/cash. If you have any questions, we're here to help.
  • Bill Pay: Paying bills for business accounts and personal accounts will now all be under the same login through our online banking services.

Access the new Online Banking.

  • A new Mastercard debit card will be issued and mailed to you 1-2 weeks prior to March 24, 2025. It will be contactless, so you can tap and pay, and it will have a different card number. You can activate your card and select a PIN by calling 1-888-227-3096. Please continue to use your current Debit Mastercard through Sunday, March 23. After this date, your old card will no longer be active; please dispose of it appropriately.
  • Debit Card Purchase Limits: Please note during the period of Friday, March 21 until Monday, March 24, your current daily transaction limits will be lower. Consider planning ahead and withdrawing any cash you might need before 4:00 pm on Friday, March 21.
  • Upon completion of the conversion process on March 24th, the bank's standard daily transaction limits will be automatically adjusted to $1,000 for ATM withdrawals and $2,500 for point-of-sale transactions.

Usernames will only change if you have more than 15 characters or if you have the same username for personal and business online banking. Your password will be the last six digits of SSN or EIN. From there, you will be prompted to set up a new password and security questions.

Apple and Android users will need to delete their old app and download the new app. We will provide you with the download instructions for the new app in March.

Download for iPhone.

Download for Android.

Telephone Banking will be unavailable Friday, March 21, until 8:00 am on Monday, March 24.

Business Bill Pay:

  • Personal Bill Payees will convert over. Business Bill Payees will not convert over. If you used  Business Bill Pay by logging into Business Online Banking, you will need to manually recreate your existing payees on the new system after 3/23. We're available to help set up your new payees, just give us a call!

Intuit Quickbooks

  • When connecting your accounts to QuickBooks, please be aware that there will be a 5-business-day delay in data synchronization. This delay will only affect your accounting data; payroll processing will not be impacted. QuickBooks should be ready for use by April 2.

Business Online Banking - Establishing Secondary Users

  • For our business customers, please note that our new system will only allow one Tax Identification Number (TIN) per login. If you have multiple users under one TIN, the primary user will need to log in after March 23rd and re-add secondary users.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to view your e-statement history in online Banking account after March 21, 2024. With this in mind, we recommend downloading or printing a year’s worth of statements for your records before March 21st. This can be done by:

  1. Visiting our website at wraystatebank.com
  2. Logging into online banking (personal or business)
  3. Select the account in which you would like statements for
  4. Click “documents” under the account title
  5. Make sure the correct account is selected > make sure document type is estatements > select your date range > click submit
  6. Print or save each statement

All customers will receive account statements as of March 21, 2025, for any activity since your last statement (a "cutoff statement"). This may result in some customers receiving two account statements for one cycle; one from the old internal system and another for activity on the new system from go-live until your regular statement date. *Note: the new system statements will look a little bit different.

  • Windsor's ATM will be down beginning Thursday, March 20, until Monday, March 24.
  • Wray's ATM will be down on Monday, March 24. Wray's ATM will function over conversion weekend with limits.

Preparation

With the upcoming changes, we want you to feel as prepared and comfortable as possible. We have listed some recommended preparations for you to follow to ensure an easy conversion.

  • Save eStatements to your computer or a hard drive. Upon conversion, access to previous statements will be lost.
  • Stay informed on upcoming conversion details via letters, emails, and social media.
  • Be on the lookout for your new debit card coming in the mail and hold on to it until it’s ready to be used on March 24, 2025. Remember to update any recurring payments tied to your old debit card to your new debit card.
  • Unavailability:
    • Debit Card- Access will be limited from 4:00 pm MST Friday, March 21 to 8:00 am on Monday, March 24. Please plan to have other payment plans accessible during this weekend (i.e. cash, credit card, gift card, or check).
    • ATM: Our ATM will be inaccessible from March 21-24, so we advise obtaining some cash beforehand. We will let you know of further limited ATM access.
    • Online Banking: Online and mobile banking will be limited during March 21-24. You will be able to view your bank details through “inquiry only” mode and will not be able to make any changes to your accounts.
    • Online Bill Pay: You will not have access to Bill Pay after 12:00 am MST on Monday, March 17. Please schedule
all Online Bill Payments to be paid before 11:59 pm MST on Sunday, March 16.

During this system upgrade, be extra cautious of fraud. Criminals may try to trick you into giving up personal information. The bank will NEVER ask for your PIN, password, or CVV via phone, email, or text. Be suspicious of unsolicited messages, avoid clicking unknown links, and always use official bank channels. Monitor your accounts closely and report any suspicious activity immediately. The bank will communicate upgrade information through official channels and maintain customer support.

Thank you in advance for your understanding during this process. We are excited to bring in new innovations to better serve you! We do know interruptions can be difficult, even when they are temporary. Remember, we are here and happy to help. We appreciate your patience as we work through the finishing touches of our new and improved internal banking system.
